Bethany (kingxhoney)

Bethany completed level II of agility, and rather than wait for a level III class, I took her straight to private lessons.  We have a good teacher who has been doing this for 15 years.  I say "we" because I am learning as much or more than Bethany!  I have to learn how to communicate through gestures, commands and body language, to give Bethany the right instructions for the course.  It's fun and good for both of us.   Agility class is the time when Bethany thinks.  You can see it on her face.  With her, it's never a question of "am I going to do what you're asking" but "do I understand what you're asking?"  She is such a good girl.  She can get distracted or bored, so you have to keep the energy high with praise and attention.  She is doing well.  The teacher took some photos of us, but I will have to scan them in before I can send them to you.  One of these days...
